Tom Hanks is one of the most successful and acclaimed actors in Hollywood for several decades is widely regarded as one of the greatest actors of his generation and is highly respected within the entertainment industry. He is also an accomplished author (uses a typewriter to write) and recently released and signed his latest novel, "The Making of another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece".

Tom's made A LOT of movies. I reviewed 50+ posters. A few I knew had to make it in (Gump, Big, Philadelphia). A few I wanted in because they were classic movies (Saving Private Ryan, Apollo 13, Toy Story) And a few just because they were very cool poster designs (Bridge Of Spies, Sully, Otto) I also decided to mainly include posters where just Hanks image is featured prominently with a simple yet effective design that conveys the tone and theme of the movie (though.. Splash very nearly made the cut).
